Desktop Themes are a great way to personalize your computer.
Desktop themes are collections of wallpaper images, color schemes, cursor
shapes, animated cursors, Windows startup/shutdown screens, sounds, and fonts
that combine to give a fresh look to your computer's "desktop" as well as your
applications.
Wallpaper? The term wallpaper refers to a graphic that serves to cover your
desktop with something more interesting than the usual plain blue surface. In
the examples below, notice the dramatic effect the "Liquid Fire," "Horse
with No Name," and "Harry Potter" wallpaper images would have on
your desktop.
"Themes" means all the elements are related to a single topic such
as a season of the year, a famous person, a sport, a product, etc. They all share
a common theme.
Desktop themes alter the appearance of all the elements of your desktop at
once, so you don't have to change the settings one at a time. Also, you can easily
and quickly switch between different themes as often as you like.
This means you can quickly change your desktop theme to match the season, a
