of themes, installation and removal of startup and shutdown screens, and is also
a full theme editor, allowing you to create your own themes for distribution with
just a few mouse clicks. In fact, most theme authors use it to create and then
package their work in a ready-to-install file. While it was designed for Windows
95/98/ME/NT/2000, it works well with Windows XP. It cannot use a few of XP's features,
but themes using those features are very rare at this time. Desktop Architect
is free, but there is no longer a company to support or update it.
